Introducing RapidFlow™
The RapidFlow™ Extension is a new 3D fluid flow solver designed to integrate seamlessly within MuSES®. This powerful extension allows users to simulate fluid dynamics quickly and accurately, tackling a wide range of thermal and environmental challenges. RapidFlow™ is tailored for applications where airflow is a key factor in thermal analysis, allowing engineers to easily model complex thermal and aerodynamic systems for both transient and steady-state scenarios.
Improved Human Thermal and Battery Extensions
The Human Thermal Extension now provides more accurate modeling of shivering and sweating, particularly for female physiology, along with smoother Berkeley Overall Comfort calculations in various scenarios. These improvements ensure more precise predictions of human thermal comfort. The Battery Extension offers more intuitive control over which layers in a multi-layer cell receive waste heat, enhancing simulation accuracy and improving the stability of electrical and thermal calculations.
Expanded System Model Coupling and FMU Support
The latest update introduces two new output parameter types: Net Radiation Flux and Net Solar Radiation Flux. These parameters allow users to simulate radiation sensors and transfer measurements back to climate control system models in 1D/0D tools, improving the accuracy of system model coupling. Enhanced access to Parameters through the Solver API further expands simulation capabilities, while post-processing has been improved with new options to plot and export Parameter results, providing greater flexibility and control in thermal simulations.
